3. Do not replace certified safety devices
You must install, maintain, and test certified smoke alarms, gas alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, fire alarms, and any other safety devices required or recommended in your jurisdiction. Olfibelle is not a replacement for these devices.
4. Emergency situations
If you suspect a gas leak, fire, carbon monoxide exposure, battery fire risk, chemical exposure, or another emergency, leave the area immediately if safe to do so. Do not rely on Olfibelle to confirm or rule out danger. Do not switch electrical devices on or off if a gas leak is suspected. Avoid flames, sparks, smoking, or ignition sources. 5. Detection limitations
Olfibelle performance may vary based on placement, airflow, ventilation, room size, temperature, humidity, gas or odor concentration, interfering odors or chemicals, sensor aging or drift, calibration, software model limitations, power or Wi-Fi availability, user configuration, environmental noise, and changing background smells. Olfibelle may fail to detect an event, may detect an event late, or may generate incorrect or unnecessary alerts.
6. No guarantee of prevention
Olfibelle does not guarantee that fires, gas leaks, battery failures, chemical exposures, property damage, injury, illness, or death will be prevented.
7. Informational alerts only
Olfibelle alerts are informational and should be treated as prompts to investigate safely, ventilate where appropriate, check certified safety devices, contact professionals, or contact emergency services when needed.
